Long-established Australian-made manufacturer
Maton, along with Cole Clark, is one of the most popular Australian-made brands among players. Although it has only recently become a standard brand, Maton is actually a long-established brand that has been around since the 1960s. Maton also produces classical guitars, and although they are rarely available in Japan, they also produce ukuleles and other instruments. The all-black wood body, Queensland maple neck, and organic design that makes generous use of home-grown woods are a new breeze not only in sound but also in visual aspect. The playability and operability of the 2-way pickups have earned it a high reputation, and the brand is one to keep an eye on in the future.
The condition of this guitar is as follows: there are some dents and scratches on the back of the neck, a buckle scratch on the body back, and some shiny spots on the waist. The lower bout on the top 6-string side of the body is also shiny, as well as next to the soundhole and near the pickguard. There are also some dents and scratches on the body top and the lower bout on the 6-string side, as well as some shininess next to the soundhole and near the pickguard.
