Large head, Grover pegs, and a 3-piece maple neck with volutes – all features unique to this period!
A 70s EB-3 in good condition is in stock!
There are some scratches on the back of the body from a buckle, but there is no major damage and the neck is almost perfect. The neck is almost perfect, and the frets have been freshly re-fretted for unquestionable playability.
The color is walnut, which was common during this period, and the escutcheon-mounted pickups are also a good representation of this era.
The body shape is different from the SG shape of the 60’s, which had a deep cut, but the cut is shallow and the body is large and stubby.
The sound is the heavy bass and growling groove of the front pickup and the strong middle and tight sound of the rear pickup. The coexistence of these two sounds on one instrument is also a feature.
Vintage prices continue to soar year after year.
How about a 70S that is still affordable?
