This pedal combines two iconic Fuzz Face Distortion sounds, featuring the snarling, high-gain aggression of a silicon transistor and the smooth, shaggy warmth of a germanium transistor in a single circuit.

Knobs
1. OUTPUT knob adjusts volume level of effect
2. FUZZ knob adjusts intensity of effect
3. FOOTSWITCH toggles effect on/bypass (red LED indicates on)

Power
The MXR Hybrid Fuzz is powered by one 9-volt battery (remove bottom plate to install), a 9-volt AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU, or an MXR BrickTM Series power supply.

Directions

  1. Run an instrument cable from your instrument to the CSP041s INPUT jack and another cable from the CSP041s OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.
  2. Start with knobs set fully counterclockwise.
  3. Turn effect on by depressing the footswitch.
  4. Rotate OUTPUT knob clockwise to increase volume or counterclockwise to decrease it.
  5. Rotate FUZZ knob clockwise to increase intensity of effect or counterclockwise to decrease it.
