The top, back and sides have several repaired cracks, along with numerous dings, patches of finish wear, scratches, and other assorted blemishes. The body and neck appear to have been oversprayed, and there are patches of hazing and checking.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the frets are fairly low with light wear and divots. The neck is very straight and the reinforcement is not adjustable, and so the guitar has been set up with 13 gauge strings to pull relief into the neck. The guitar has been set up to play cleanly and comfortably in this condition. The serial number dates this guitar to 1949.
