The D’addario EXL110+ XL Electric Guitar Strings, here in Regular Light Plus gauge 10.5-48, are placed slap bang in the middle of a gauge 10 and 11 set.
These are perfect for those who want a bit more tension from their 10s but don’t want to make the move up to 11s. It’s only a tiny difference in thickness but it makes all the difference with the feel. As they’re slightly thicker than a normal set of 10s they will give you a louder, brighter tone and will push you amplifier a bit harder. These are also great for down tuning.
The nickel wound strings are set to last for a good length of time and they feel great on the fingers. The individual thicknesses are: .0105, .0135, .018, .028, .038, .048.
